Now, in-person sales definitely works, and it worked for me once I found the right clients. So, with some support from my parents I went for it, quit my job and started my own business after I had done a deep-dive into her content and started building a portfolio for a few months. In 2016/17, I was the perfect target for something like that: desperate, underpaid, always ashamed that I wasn't "fulfilling my potential" (I now know I have ADHD), and I had been a photography enthusiast for ages and really liked her style of portraiture. Is the whole thing a cult? No, but it is cult-y, a bit like an MLM. If you aren't familiar with her, she preaches an in-person sales model as the only way to run a profitable business, has a (paid, of course) education website with loads and loads of content - posing, styling, printing, selling, you name it, and honestly has the charisma and rhetoric of a cult leader. I will try and keep this as short and concise as I can. And my information may not be 100% up to date because I left the group in 2018.
